WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
The Fresh Outlook Foundation provides a needed service using proven behavior-change tools, but its long-term
success depends ultimately on innovative, supportive, and lasting relationships with stakeholders from the
public, private, civic, academic, and innovation sectors. To that end, partnerships between the foundation and
target-specific audiences such as local governments, businesses, industries, universities, community groups,
and residents are cultivated carefully to ensure mutual benefit. These partnerships help stakeholders achieve
their sustainability goals while providing the foundation with strategic, operational, and financial support.
Your participation as a donor, sponsor, partner, facilitator, or volunteer is critically important to the
foundation’s future. We guarantee it will be an enriching experience that furthers your sustainability
objectives while helping the foundation realize its passion of “kindling a fresh outlook among British
Columbians that inspires sustainable behaviors at home, work, and play.”

Both donors and sponsors can give confidently, knowing the foundation:
Partners
- Partners are individuals or groups from the public, private,
civic, academic, or innovation sectors that help develop, implement, and evaluate foundation programs,
products, and services through strategic or operational support. For example, Chambers of Commerce in a
particular region might work with the foundation to develop a sustainability awareness program specifically for
business owners. Not only would chamber members have access to the resulting program — which would meets their
particular wants and needs — but the chambers would be appropriately recognized in all program documentation
and on the website’s Thanking Partners page.

Facilitators
- Facilitators are individuals from the public, private, civic,
academic, or innovation sectors who deliver foundation programs to specific target audiences. Using the Chamber
of Commerce example mentioned above, a chamber member might facilitate a sustainability awareness program
specifically for hotel/motel owners/operators. Or, a book-club member might volunteer to take the sustainability
message to her cohorts by way of a book and related discussion group questions. These facilitators are the real
“champions”: Through them, the foundation targets specific groups of British Columbians with the
sustainability information and communication tools they need to initiate meaningful dialogue, introduce
appropriate behavior-change strategies, and promote short- and long-term accountability. Facilitators are
recognized on the website’s Applauding Facilitators
page. Become a partner now by contacting the foundation at
